Minibus Hire

Our 9-seater minibus gives you room for nine people, luggage, and a few extras without anyone having to take a second car. It's self-drive on a standard UK car licence (no D1 needed), and we hire it daily, weekly, or short-term up to 30 days from our Grangemouth base.

When a 9-Seater Minibus is the Right Pick

It works well for wedding parties, golf trips, stag and hen weekends, sports teams, work outings, and family days out where you want everyone in the same vehicle. Picking groups up from Edinburgh or Glasgow airport is a common use, as is shuttling guests between a hotel and an event venue.

If you only need transport for a smaller group, a regular car will usually do the job. For larger groups beyond nine people, you'd typically need a 16 or 17-seater, which falls outside the standard car licence in most cases.

What's Included in Your Hire

• Insurance arranged through our third-party provider, with an excess of up to £1,500
• 150 miles per day mileage allowance (0.12p per mile over)
• A serviced, cleaned vehicle ready on collection

A £300 rental deposit is taken on a debit or credit card in the driver's name. Prepaid cards are not accepted.

Driver Requirements

Drivers must be aged 23 to 72 and have held a full UK driving licence for at least two years. Drivers aged 23 or 24 pay a £25 daily young driver surcharge. Additional drivers can be added for £10 a day.

Our 9-seater can be driven by anyone holding a standard category B licence, so there's no need for a D1 entitlement. Full details are on our driving requirements page.

Pickup in Grangemouth

Our depot at Unit 0, Newhouse Business Park, Grangemouth, FK3 8LL, sits a few minutes from the M9 next to Zetland Park. Customers regularly travel in from Falkirk, Bo'ness, Linlithgow, Polmont, Larbert, Stenhousemuir, and the wider Forth Valley. Edinburgh and Stirling are both inside half an hour by motorway, which makes the minibus a practical airport-run choice.

Reserve through our online booking system or call 01324 471766. We're open 07:30 to 18:00 Monday to Friday and 07:30 to 13:00 on Saturday. Weekend hires and event dates book up quickly, so the earlier you can secure your date, the better.
